First steps with MongoDb & OpenId
I started my work with application that will use MongoDb as storage for OpenId creditentials and stuff. I get MVC template of OpenId application from http://www.dotnetopenauth.net/ (3.4.7). It uses mdf file database for storage. I am working now to make it Sql Server free. Project is stored on GitHub: https://github.com/robertkras/MVConMongo so feel free to fork it and add coments. When it will be working I will try to host it on AppHarbor.

Git code repository
Applications on AppHarbor are installed using git so I have installed TortoiseGit - windows interface for Git code repository. I have found short tutorial for Git beginners with SVN experience here http://git.or.cz/course/svn.html.
On this page I will add errors made by me and other Git beginners. So if you have any please add them in comments.

First steps
Every journey starts with first step.
I am starting this blog to describe and log my experiences with building site hosted on AppHarbor cloud service. On first post I should introduce myself. My name is Robert and I am web developer with no experience in cloud development. I have few years experience in c# and ASP.Net though. Some time ago I saw AppHarbor introduction video and I thought that if this is so easy, I can do it too. I hope that my experiences will encourage you (or not) to start by yourself.
I will try to build application that will cover common mistakes that are made by people that are learning something. On every field there are errors that many people do, but which should be easily avoided with help of my beautiful, shiny application.
As I said I will be learning few new things so I guess there will be mistakes. Those mistakes will be added to my blog posts first and when application will be ready, I will input them straight to it.
I hope you will enjoy the ride
